WJU falls to Xavier

Cincinnati, OH-Saturday, both the Cardinal Men’s (1-1) and Women’s Swimming (1-1) Teams fell to Xavier University by scores of 122-82 for then women and 117-82 for the men.
Head Coach Rick West indicated that despite the loss he was pleased with the effort from the team.
“This has been a great year for new challenges for our team,” West said. “We opened the year at WVU with the WV State Games and today we had the opportunity to compete against a fellow Jesuit institution in Xavier.”
“We raced very well. I look forward to swimming them in future competitions,” West said.
